Data controller

Gano Excel Online is operated by an independent authorized Gano Excel distributor, based in Colombia. For purposes of this policy, we act as the controller of your personal data. You can contact us at contacto@ganoexcelonline.com for any request related to your data.

What data we collect

We collect the data you provide directly to us: when you create an account (name, email, phone, password), when you register a shipping address, when you place an order, when you write to us through the contact form or the business-interest form (name, phone, city, message), and when you chat with our AI assistant (the content of your messages). If you save a payment method, we only keep a Wompi reference and display data (card brand, last 4 digits, or your Nequi number) — never your full card number or security code. We also automatically collect your preferred language and approximate country (from your IP address) to display the site correctly, and aggregated browsing data through Google Analytics.

What we use your data for

We use your personal data to:

• Create and manage your user account
• Process and follow up on your orders, including confirmation emails and status updates
• Respond to your contact messages or your interest in the business opportunity
• Provide the AI assistant and keep a history of your conversation
• Show the site in your language and calculate shipping cost based on your location
• Understand how the site is used to improve it, in aggregate, via Google Analytics

Who we share your data with

We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. We only share it with providers that help us operate the site, under their own security policies: Amazon Web Services (sending emails), Wompi (payment processing, only when you make a purchase), and Google Analytics (site usage statistics). We may also share information if required by law.

Your rights (Habeas Data)

As the owner of your personal data, you have the right to know, update, correct, and request the deletion of your data, as well as to revoke the authorization given for its processing, in accordance with Colombian Law 1581 of 2012 and its regulatory decrees. Cookies

We use technical cookies necessary for the site to work: one to remember the language you chose and another to detect your approximate country and calculate the correct shipping cost. We also use Google Analytics cookies to understand aggregate site usage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Security of your data

We protect your data with reasonable technical measures: passwords are stored encrypted and never in plain text, connections to the site are encrypted via HTTPS, and we limit access to information to authorized staff only.

Minors

Our products and services are aimed at adults. We do not knowingly collect data from minors under 18.
